MBS Global PD brings a holistic approach to professional and personal development considering Mind, Body, & Spirit.

Julie Edwards Spirit

Spirit

Our business is built on the belief that true wellbeing comes from caring for the body, mind, and spirit.

The concept of spirit is used as a non-denominational term that recognises the importance of meaning, reflection, and personal wellbeing. It encompasses pastoral care within organisations as well as self-care from an individual perspective.

Topics such as mindfulness, meditation, journaling, reflection, and resilience will be explored as practical ways to support emotional and spiritual wellbeing. This section of the website will also feature guest presenters, podcast discussions, and resources from a variety of contributors who share insights into holistic wellbeing.

Opportunities will also be available for individuals and groups to participate in workshops, seminars, and retreats focused on wellbeing and personal growth. Organisations or groups may also book tailored sessions to suit their own needs.

Samples of our workshops

MBS Global PD presents pastoral care as the spirit of the organisation. While many organisations focus primarily on skills and performance, we recognise that supporting the well-being of individuals is essential for creating healthy, productive, and sustainable workplaces.

This page outlines a selection of topics that can be tailored and delivered for your organisation, providing practical tools and strategies to support individuals, strengthen teams, and foster a positive workplace culture

The duration varies depending on the content and the level of depth each client requires.

We understand that for small businesses it’s not always practical to book a full in-house workshop. That’s why we also offer public workshops in various locations throughout Australia, New Zealand, and Port Moresby (PNG) making our training more accessible and flexible.

Pastoral Care

Many organisations focus primarily on developing skills and knowledge, often overlooking the importance of pastoral care for employees. At MBS Global PD, we recognise that supporting the whole person is essential for both individual well-being and organisational success. Our pastoral care workshops and leadership programs are designed to strengthen resilience, improve workplace culture, and support sustainable performance.

Breathwork

Breathwork is a simple yet powerful tool for improving well-being in the workplace. Our breathwork workshops can be elivered as a standalone sessions or integrated into a broader program. Through guided techniques, participants learn how conscious breathing can reduce stress, improve cognitive function, and enhance focus. Even dedicating fifteen minutes a day to breathwork can produce noticeable benefits for both individuals and teams.

Burnout

Burnout is increasingly recognised as a complex issue linked to the interconnected nature of mental, emotional, social, and physical health. Our workshops explore a holistic approach to recognising and addressing burnout, focusing on strategies that support resilience and long-term well-being. By understanding these connections, individuals and organisations can create healthier work environments that improve both performance and overall quality of life.

Charity

Encouraging corporate philanthropy and volunteer opportunities can play a valuable role in strengthening workplace morale and well-being. Participating in charitable activities fosters connection, purpose, and a sense of contribution beyond daily work responsibilities. In this workshop, participants explore examples of successful initiatives and develop ideas that individuals and organisations can implement to support their communities while strengthening team engagement.

Culture

Organisational culture—shared values, beliefs, and behaviours—has a profound impact on employee well-being. A supportive and respectful culture reduces stress, lowers the risk of burnout and compassion fatigue, and encourages long-term engagement. Our workshops explore how leaders can model empathy, integrity, and care while developing practical strategies to build and sustain a positive workplace culture.

Empathy

Creating a safe and supportive workplace requires the development of genuine empathy. Our workshops explore practical ways to cultivate empathy through active listening, respectful boundaries, and awareness of both verbal and non-verbal communication. By understanding different perspectives and fostering authentic connection, participants learn strategies that strengthen relationships while protecting their own well-being.

Journaling

Journaling is a powerful reflective practice that supports emotional and mental well-being. In our workshops, participants are introduced to different journaling approaches that can help reduce stress, process experiences, and build self-awareness. Practical guidance is provided to help individuals establish and maintain a journaling practice that supports ongoing personal and professional development.

Meditation & Mindfulness

Meditation and mindfulness practices are widely recognised for their positive impact on well-being and workplace performance. These practices can reduce stress, improve focus, and contribute to a more supportive organisational culture. Our workshops introduce a range of accessible techniques, including guided meditations and simple mindfulness tools that participants can easily integrate into their daily routines.

Peer Support

Peer support programs can play an important role in strengthening workplace well-being and reducing the stigma associated with mental health challenges. When implemented effectively, peer support fosters trust, connection, and shared responsibility for well-being. Our workshops provide training, tools, and strategies to help organisations develop and implement peer support systems that benefit both individuals and the wider workplace.

Reflection

Reflection is an important practice for processing experiences, emotions, and interactions in both personal and professional contexts. Reflective practices can improve self-awareness, strengthen confidence, and reduce stress and burnout. In our workshops, participants explore structured approaches such as Gibbs’ Reflective Cycle alongside journaling techniques that can be incorporated into everyday routines.

Transformation

While many people say they welcome change, genuine transformation can be challenging. Our transformation workshops support individuals and leaders as they navigate personal and organisational change. Participants explore strategies that build resilience, reduce anxiety and burnout, and encourage growth, helping organisations address challenges such as low morale, toxic cultures, and disengagement.

Work-Life Balance

Achieving a healthy balance between work, study, and personal commitments can be difficult in today’s demanding environments. Poor balance often leads to increased stress, reduced productivity, and declining well-being. Our workshops provide practical ideas and strategies to help individuals create sustainable routines that support both professional success and a healthier lifestyle.
